1. Who we are

smarttube.lol is an independent third-party website that prepares, configures and keeps SmartTube builds up to date for the televisions and streaming boxes you register. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the SmartTube project, YouTube, Google or Amazon. All third-party product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site and your account:

• Account data: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile image URL, and Google account identifier.
• Authentication data: session cookies and tokens that keep you signed in.
• Payment data: order, plan, and subscription records. Card details are entered on and processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
• Build data: the device profiles, update channels, player preferences and build settings you configure, together with the install links and build history associated with your account.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs, used for security and aggregate analytics.

3. What we do not collect

We never receive your Google password, your YouTube watch history, or any content you stream on your television. If you sign in on a device with a Google account or a device code, that sign-in happens directly between your device and Google, and it is not routed through smarttube.lol.

4. How we use information

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To build and deliver the device profiles and builds you request, and to apply credits to them.
• To process subscriptions and handle refunds or billing questions.
• To detect abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• To improve the site and understand aggregate usage.
• To respond to support requests.

5. Third parties

We share data only with the processors required to operate the site: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments and subscriptions), and our hosting, storage and database providers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, locale, and security. Analytics, where enabled, is used in aggregate form only. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; blocking authentication cookies will prevent sign-in.

7. Retention

Account, build, and order records are kept while your account is active and afterwards for as long as required for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. Session tokens expire automatically.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Send requests to support@smarttube.lol and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and least-privilege access to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
